Garden of the Gods is one of the most popular attractions that Colorado Springs has to offer. With over 1300 acres of space, this park is a giant wilderness to explore. This national landmark displays red sandstone formations that tower 300 feet in the air, and also includes a visitor center and a trading post and cafe.

The Santa Fe Trail in Colorado Springs is an almost 17 mile trail that runs from Palmer Lake, just north of Monument, in the TriLakes neighborhood, down through the Northgate neighborhood, down to the Woodmen exit on the I-25 in the Northwest, where it becomes the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. Santa Fe Trail is a flat gravel walkway, suitable for bicycles, dogs, horses, walking, and running.

One of the joys in my life is to be able to walk the Cottonwood Creek Park Trail almost every day. I get lots of green grass, lots of foliage, and views of Colorado Spring's beautiful Pikes Peak.

Nestled just north of the Northwind neighborhood, Cottonwood Creek Park has just about everything you would want: huge soccer field, three baseball diamonds, an easy walking path, a rec center with an indoor pool, a large playground, and even a disc/frisbee golf course. I didn't even know what disc golf was until I started walking here.
