Little Nepal in Colorado Springs is an Indian restaurant with buffet and menu options, also serving Tibetan and Nepali dishes. I consider it a close second in taste and quality to Mirch Masala. I compare and contrast the two here. Unlike some restaurants, where I like them less and less with each visit (looking at you Tucanos), Little Nepal has won my taste buds over more and more. As much as I love Mirch Masala, Little Nepal has its own strengths in an Indian restaurant that I cannot ignore. Also not a busy restaurant, at either location (they have two). Lot of sauces (which I don't usually do), and a healthy amount of tandoori chicken, naan bread, vegetable samosa, and chicken tikka masala. The naan bread at Little Nepal tastes like a fluffy Pillsbury biscuit dough, or at least what I imagine they taste like, haven't had them since I was a kid. Anyway the naan can easily become a meal all on it's own. Mirch Masala's naan in contrast tastes like a yeasty tortilla. Both styles of naan have their appeal to me. Little Nepal shines with their tandoori chicken. It is moist and flavorful, and it surpasses the tandoori chicken of even Mirch Masala. Their chicken tikka masala is also good, though Mirch has a creamier sauce. The vegetable samosa at Little Nepal has more of a spiced flavor to it, and I can't decide who's samosa I like more. Little Nepal is a delightful Indian Restaurant that is worth making a staple in your eat-out rotation. I am always satisfied after I eat here. They also have a rewards program, I think it's a free meal for every ten visits. No other coupons or discounts that I'm aware of. If you have not had an Indian restaurant buffet, you need to try it. Little Nepal is one of my favorite restaurants in Colorado Springs! Little Nepal is located at 4820 Flintridge Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. There is also a second location at 1747 S 8th St, Colorado Springs, CO 80905. I have eaten at both!
