Wok in Wok Out in Colorado Springs Guide

Wok In Wok Out in Colorado Springs is quite a charming Chinese restaurant. I first heard of it when I was researching for my review on Tucanos. My son's karate teacher had reviewed Wok In Wok Out on Google, and the name was so catchy I had to take a look!

My wife and I went on a Friday evening, and there was one other couple that came in while we were there. It's similar to Mirch Masala in that it's not usually busy, which is great for waiting time but I do want the business to do well also!

We were seated in a corner, and we had our little newborn with us so we appreciated the extra space that we had. The restaurant has a boutique flair to it, with tasteful decor that gives it a kind of a shabby chic look. Quite different from any other Chinese or Thai restaurant, but very clean feeling.

We ordered the kung pao chicken, and the beef with vegetables. Presentation as you can see was lovely, and as far as taste and texture goes, it tasted fresh and delicious. We also got a wonton soup and a hot and sour soup, which tasted traditional.

This is a Chinese and Thai based menu, so the expected standards that you see in most Chinese restaurants are there.

The waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. We felt very welcome and appreciated, and we were checked on often enough without being intrusive. We had a wonderful dining experience at Wok In Wok Out.

Drink Menu

The drink menu is quite short, which I didn't actually have a problem with. I usually drink just water, and a glass of milk with breakfast, so I don't get fancy. Others may take issue with the lack of a solid drink menu, especially with the lack of any alcoholic drinks.

Wok In Wok Out does delivery also! They have a limited neighborhood delivery area, with a minimum $20 order. Call to order, as they don't have an online order option. They are closed on Sundays.

They also have a good amount of gluten free options, for those with gluten sensitivities. I noticed a rather large selection of gluten free menu items, so this would be a good place to eat for that!

There is no buffet option, but you should try it out! Wok In Wok Out prices are very reasonable; we paid about $25 for both our meals. Among Chinese restaurants, this one delighted me just a little more.
